Duct cleaning plays a vital role in indoor air quality and how well your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system performs.
Neglected ductwork invites pet dander, mold, dust mites—and even vermin. Compromised air quality can trigger respiratory problems such as allergies and asthma.
Children in particular are susceptible to poor air quality, as their respiratory rate is 30-60 times per minute, while adults average 12-20 times per minute.
Consider adding an air scrubber to reduce viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants in the ambient air and on surfaces.

Usually several hours for a typical home, depending on size and how many runs there are. We also check the ductwork itself while we are in there, because leaking or disconnected ducts waste more conditioned air than dirty ones do and are worth knowing about.
It can reduce what circulates, but filtration and humidity control usually do more for allergies than cleaning alone. If ducts are visibly dirty, cleaning is a sensible step. If they are not, better filtration is the higher value change. We would rather tell you that than sell you a cleaning.
Visible dust blowing from vents, debris you can see inside the register, musty smells when the system runs, evidence of pests, or a house that dusts up again immediately after cleaning. Recent renovation work is the clearest case, because construction dust goes straight into the returns.
It helps when the ducts are genuinely dirty: after construction or a renovation, after a rodent or pest problem, if there is visible debris or mould, or if the system has never been cleaned in decades. It is not an annual necessity for every home, and we will tell you if yours does not need it.
Often the same day. If you call before 1pm we can usually get a technician to you that day, and members of our 5 Star Maintenance Plan go to the front of the queue. Our vans are stocked, so most common repairs are finished on the first visit rather than waiting on a part.
It is our annual maintenance membership. Members get discounted annual maintenance, priority service, no overtime charges, a discounted diagnostic fee that is free at the Platinum level, an extended repair warranty, discounted water heater service, and a reminder when your maintenance is due. Members who call before 1pm can usually be seen the same day.
A three year labor warranty on our work as standard, plus a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself run separately and vary by brand and model. A Comfort Shield Extended Warranty is available if you want coverage beyond that, and we will explain what each one covers before you decide.

That matters more than it sounds: Puget Sound housing stock runs from 1920s bungalows to new construction, and the right answer for one is rarely the right answer for the other.
